I don't really know why I'm sharing this song. It's not a big hit or something, but I think it's a nice song and worth listening to^^ (man, i must write more english, I suck!)

The artist is a norwegian guy called Didrik Solli-Tangen. He was born in 1987 in Porsgrunn, Norway. He is really an opera-singer, but does all kinds of music:)
In 2010 he entered Eurovision Song Contest representing Norway.

4 amazing years!

This is one of the last weeks for me here in Oslo. My education is coming to an end, and I'm planning to move back home so that i can begin my working career! Can't wait! But at the same time, it is a little bit scary, moving back to the place I haven't lived in since i was about 16 years old! 

That is definitly going to be a challenge for me. Not only because I don't have so many friends there, but also because I have to find myself a new church. I have always found it kinda scary to get to know other people because I'm so shy, but that is something I really have to challenge myself to do! I know that I'm gonna be fine in the end :D I have Jesus to look after me and i'm so happy for that!

Top 3 Eurovision songs 2000-2012

This is my personal Top 3 list which shows the three songs that in my opinion was the best of this decade in Eurovision Song Contest.

So, which one do you like?

1) Alexander Rybak - Fairytale (NORWAY 2009)
This song has actually no contest in my eyes. It has a catchy chours, it is easy to sing along and the stage act was amazing! Enjoy!

2) Jedward - Waterline (IRELAND 2012)

This song got my second place because it has nice lyrics, and a catchy tune. + this is the two most charming lads ever!

3) Anna Bergendahl - This is my life (SWEDEN 2010)

Sweden was actually my favorite that year, but sadly they didn't make it to the finals in Oslo. Come on! I still doesn't understand how that was possible.. Anyway, this is a cute girl who sings a song that give me the shivers, and she is not acting like a sex-doll on the stage! Go Anna!

Happy New Year!

In about 4 hours it'll be 2013 here in the cold winterland of Norway.
We're finished with the dinner and our dessert (wich was amazing!) And now I'm just chilling out on the couch with some Jedward-music, writing this blogentry.

 2012 has been a fantastic year with loads of happy memories, but also some sad memories. This year was the "year of climbing hills and mountains". I went on loads of hikingtrips with my friends from oslo and from highshool. Underneath you can watch some pictures:

The sun is shining!

After days with raining and bad weather, the sun finally decided to pay Bjørkedalen a visit! It is not superhot, but I can go outside without a jacket on ;)

Today, me and my dad, went to Volda to buy some painting-equipment. A few brushes and some grey paint. Dad's going to paint a cupboard, to make it a little more fresh!
I must say that I really look forward to start working, cause this; being home all the time, can get a little boring..

Haha, today I had my last day at school before the summerholidays! HURRAY! Im finally going home to my friends and family. Oh gee, I've missed them much!

I have wonderful classmates!

Today my class at the nursing-school, went to the park and had a barbecue and played volleyball! W enjoyed ourselves and smiled and laughed! Even if it rained for a few minutes, I must say that that did not infect our good mood!

I just love playing volleyball. It's a shame really, that I haven't played it properly in almost two-three years! Hm.. I think I maybe have to buy myself a ball when I come home for the summerholidays (which is tomorrow haha!). There are two types of volleyball (that I know of). Indoors and beachvolley! I must say that I prefer to play the last one, cause then I can trow myself at the ground, withoug killing myself in the process!

Mark Read

As the title says, I'm going to write a little about the singer Mark Read. Most of you guys might know him from the Boy/Man-band a1.

He's from a quite musical family, and he started playing the piano when he was only 3 years old! Mark was only seven when he took the interest in the art of performing, after he joined his parents on stage when they were in a band (sorry about that bad english!).



When he was around 16-19, he got many offers about taking part in different projects, but it was first when he met Ben Adams, that his music-career really got a boost. Read got his first contract when he was only 20 years old!

When the band broke up in 2002, he chosed to write songs for other artists. The 25th of May 2009, his first soloalbun; "Peace at last", were launched. In August 2009, Mark performed again with a1 in the norwegian summershow "Allsang på Grensen".

This song makes me wanna dance!

In November 2009 they released the single "Take you home", which was the official Red Nose Day-song in Norway. The band also had several reunion-concerts at Christiania theatre in Oslo (i was there juhuuu!). After this concerts, it was confirmed, a1 was back together as a band!

Janyary 23th 2010 he and a1 participated in the Norwegian finals of Eurovision song contest, with the song "Don't wanna lose you again". They got a very nice second place, behind Didrik Solli-Tangen.

In October 2010, the first a1 album in 8 years, "Waiting for daylight" were released!
